Caleb
Drum Teacher
Caleb began playing drums at 9 years old and shortly thereafter became a serious student of both classical and jazz percussion. He has studied with faculty from the Frost School of Music (University of Miami), UCF School of Performing Arts, and the Juilliard School, and traveled the country with various ensembles as a child that performed at Walt Disney Concert Hall (home of the LA Philharmonic), Hilbert Circle Theatre (home of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra), and the Benny Golson Jazz Festival in Ephraim, Utah.

Caleb graduated from Interlochen Arts Academy in 2017, with a focus in commercial music and drum set performance. Since relocating to the area, he has performed with numerous local rock/pop bands, as well as recorded with many artists throughout Southern California, ranging from acoustic singer-songwriters to thrash metal groups. Caleb currently works with two original projects and is an active improviser having played on several free jazz and avant-garde improvisational albums.

Caleb is an enthusiastic teacher dedicated to encouraging students to adopt different perspectives on their playing. He loves to see students succeed in areas that truly move them, and to be a part of their individual journeys by helping them facilitate their ideas to the best of his ability!

School of Rock is the best studio for kids to learn their craft. The teachers are excellent and the kids' musical talents are nurtured in a fun, inspirational and supportive environment.

Caring and professional staff.

My son's favorite part of the week is knowing he will be attending his band practice and one-on-one instruction. He told me that he can now be himself and not shy because of School of Rock.

A Supportive Learning Environment!

In the short time my son has been with School of Rock, he has gained confidence and he’s highly motivated to practice his vocals in order to become a better performer. We both love that it’s a pressure-free, supportive learning environment.

What a great program!

The kids learn not only music, but performance and team work. It is a positive, supportive experience and we think it builds confidence. Plus it is a blast for the parents!
